Child Safety Standards
Pick a Plan is a group planning and polling app. We do not tolerate child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, or any use of our service to endanger or sexually exploit a minor. These standards apply to everyone using Pick a Plan.
How Pick a Plan works
People create and share polls made of text, such as a question, optional description, and answer choices. Pick a Plan does not provide public profiles, direct messages, open chat, or photo and video uploads. Poll links can be shared with other people, so users must not include abusive, exploitative, or identifying information about a child in a poll.
Prohibited content and conduct
Users may not create, share, request, promote, or link to content or conduct that:
- sexually exploits, abuses, endangers, or sexualizes a person under 18;
- grooms, solicits, coerces, or attempts to move a minor into sexual activity or exploitative contact;
- contains, offers, requests, or facilitates access to CSAM; or
- helps someone identify, contact, exploit, or harm a child.
We may disable a poll and take further action on content or access when we determine that these standards have been violated.
Report a concern
To report a poll, use “Report this poll” on its poll page in the Pick a Plan app or website. Reports are sent to a private moderation queue and are not shown on the public poll page. You can also contact our child safety point of contact by email.
We review reports, prioritize reports indicating risk to a child, and may disable reported polls while taking appropriate action. When we identify confirmed CSAM or other reportable child exploitation, we will report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the appropriate regional authority as applicable, and respond to lawful requests from authorities.
